I have read some very bad reviews on here and I think some of them might be unwarranted. So the buffet is around $18 on a Thursday night. They close at 10pm, I got here around 830pm. I had most American food, along with some Honey chicken, and Fried Shrimp. I can say overall the buffet line was clean and I didnt encounter any cold food. They actually replenished a full rack of BBQ ribs at 9pm. They were my favorite, but I definitely had worse at other places. The meat did pull off the bone very easily. And it was a wet BBQ rib. They did have steak, but not cooked to order like Golden Corral. It reminded me more of Breakfast Steak pieces. The vegetables were good and they had a pretty large selection of Sushi on a separate bar. The waitress came by and refilled my drink, didnt hover and I didnt feel rushed. I am sorry to hear of the bad experiences of others and while I am sure they are valid, my experience tonight didnt reflect that at all. In truth, the buffet is more of a Chinese buffet trying to add traditional American dishes. Its definitely not Golden Corral and if you come in with that expectation you will be disappointed. This buffet was a pleasant surprise. So much variety, from Chinese to Southern American, and everything was fresh and clean. The service was top-notch, and the price? Unbeatable – only $61 for four people.

I was so excited to try this place yall. But I was so let down. --- To start with some positives: The assortment of food is galore! I also find the Country American and Neo-Asian fusion quite novel and cool. You have your standard Asian take-out items, sushi bar, country home fixins like chicken (fried, BBQ), mac & cheese, veggie sides, a salad bar w an assortment of toppings and dressings, pre-made salads (potato, macaroni, corn, coleslaw, lobster), 3 rotating soups, 3 or 4 fruit options (they're from a can), and some desserts. My main issues with the food was: - I came in between meal times, and you can see what was there during lunch just underneath whatever poured on top, rather than swapping the whole pan for fresh. - Food quality inconsistent and many fried items were dry and overcooked - waaayy too salty and/or saucy. In a blind test, you wont be able to distinguish what you're eating. - all the good food items that seemed fresh came out at dinner. They have signs up warning you that if you take food from the next meal time, you will be charged that price. The signs aren't super obvious, so make sure to be aware if you happen to be in between meals. ---------- Service: T

They rush to have you leave after an hour and will repeatedly ask about the bill. The lack of a soft serve ice cream was disappointing but to find out that they offered child size cups of ice cream and limited one cup per person was enough to have me leave this review. Will not be returning. Also, they don’t allow black customers to leave the table to make payment at the front registers like other patrons. Instead they have you pay at the table. Writing this the evening of Easter dinner where the restaurant was not packed. Plenty of seating!

We visited Chow’s today for lunch. This location used to be an Old Golden Corral. It had closed, and this Buffet took its place. This place is very big. It gets very busy, so they need the seating. The Hostess was pleasant and showed us to a table. There is a pretty good selection. I thought the food areas were clean and trays were kept full. There were several areas of food. Salads, vegetables. Seafood, pizza, Traditional meats and a desert area with ice cream. The restaurant was very organized and the entire staff was pretty nice. The price was reasonable and would probably go back for another meal. Updated to recent visit 6/2026. This place appears to have changed. Not as many good choices and the price has increased. Just one housekeeping note, it appears the floors could use a really good clean. We ate there on a Saturday lunch, and it was $17.99 with no drink.
